This is a collection of declaraions of Patriarch Ignatius to Lebanese newspapers and journals during his visits to Lebanon especially in 1984. pic0012.JPGThey revolve around Lebanon Jerusalem, Christian –Moslem relations, and Arab nationalism. They also deal with church matters such as Antiochian unity, and ecumenical visions. The texts have been grouped as follows: Orthodoxy and Lebanon, Jerusalem, Christianity and Islam, Antioch and Christian unity. The different texts have a common theme. They portray a spiritual attitude that seeks a revival of an Eastern Christianity to rediscover not only its roots but also the mission for which God has entrusted to it.
